About This Item

Newark, NJ: Barton Press, 1969. Pearson, Henry. Octavo. Seven folders, printed on three sides, + 5 silkscreen sheets. One of 200 copies, signed by the illustrator, Henry Pearson. Five colorful silkscreens, in a design form that is much like "op art," each signed on the back by Pearson, are laid-into folders on which are printed the psalms. These silkscreens are unusual, in that one is printed on mylar, another on transparent blue plastic and another in neon colors. Unbound as issued in a chemise and a green cloth slipcase with dropback cover and gilt titling. Some sunning to exterior of chemise, faint wear to slipcase, single stain to verso of second folder, else near fine.
