Boston: L. C. Page & Co, 1918. First Edition. Hardcover. Near fine. Large octavo, 380pp., illustrated. A very nice, bright copy in the handsome publisher's binding, overall near fine. Contemporary gift inscription on the half-title, and front inner hinge cracked, but holding. A delightful, well-illustrated celebration of the state of Florida, authored by a wealthy Toledo businessman who had interests in the state. Dozens of illustrations from period photographs depict the state well into its popularity as a vacation destination, but before it became overrun with Disney and national chains. An appealing volume.
