Publisher's green cloth, gilt-stamped lettering on upper board and spine, t.e.g.; 3 volumes, large 8vo; pp. xii, 256; xii, 247; xi, 251; with numerous colored (chromolithograph) plates. Boards and spines lightly rubbed; some wrinkling at spine tips. Internally nice and clean, with handsome nautical bookplate of George A. P. H. Duncan on front paste-down. A lovely set, with bright gilt, and vibrant plates.
