Hardcover, full dark burgundy genuine leather binding, heavily decorated in gold with raised spine. All edges gilt, dark pink silk moire end-papers and silk ribbon marker bound-in. Printed on archival acid-neutral paper. 201 pages. Translated into English verse by various hands. Edited, with an introduction, by James Laver. Illustrated with full page engravings by Pierre-Yves Tremois. First edition thus by Easton Press. A title in the 100 Greatest Books Ever Written series, Collector's Edition. No previous ownership marks. A clean, square, fresh and unmarked copy but for very slight loss of gilt on middle rule, front cover, else covers like new and gilt edges pristine. Near fine. .
