London: Privately printed at R. Martin's Lithographic Office, 1827. Lithographed throughout. 14 hand-colored plates after Curtis and 26 lithographed leaves of text from handwriting, printed recto only, including the title and 1p. List of Subscribers. 1 vols. 4to. Contemporary black morocco backed green silk boards, covers pictorially stamped in gilt, yellow endpapers. Worn at board edges, bookplate removed from front pastedown. Lithographed throughout. 14 hand-colored plates after Curtis and 26 lithographed leaves of text from handwriting, printed recto only, including the title and 1p. List of Subscribers. 1 vols. 4to. Done Entirely in Lithography. According to the subscriber's list the privately-printed work was limited to only 100 copies, subscribed for by 97 individuals. Very scarce with five examples cited by OCLC, with varying numbers of leaves: British Library (41 leaves); Yale (copy 1, 41 leaves; copy 2, 36 leaves); Harvard (40 leaves); University of Wisconsin (36 leaves). The present example with 40 leaves (i.e. with all 14 plates and 26 leaves of text [without the poem The Water Lily found in the British Library example]). Given the bespoke nature of this privately-printed book, and the fact that there are more poems than plates, there would seem to be some variation among the collations of the text.

Notable as an early work produced entirely by lithography. Twyman 1.79
