Folio, 12" tall, 36 pages including 17 in color (numerous full page illustrated color ads), wire saddle stitch, stiff card cover with gilt decorations and title on flocked red background. A very good, clean, neat programme over all with minor shelf wear and rubbing to the flocking, with a slight break at the spine fold

Derval was an actor/producer - owned the theater (1920s), directing shows until his death (1960s). Music, dancing, scantily clad women, comedians, muscular studs, showgirls. Yvonne Menard, Micheline Roine, Frederic Rey, Yves Thomas, Maia Jusanova, Jacqueline Marcy, Chelo Alonso, Simone Claris, Lydia Lova, Judith Shaw, Del Monte, Nicole Parent, Roger Stefani, Turkan Kan, & the Famous Jackson Girls all noted in the program. Show sequences also noted, titles in French/German/English: The School of Lovers, Midnight Bath, A Star in 1958, Witchcraft, The Velasquez' Studio, Hurrah for Folies, Paris Lights, Moon-Light. Ads (French cruise lines, cigarettes, Courvoisier, crystal ware). Saddle-stapled softcover 4to, 9.5 x 12.5 inches, 32pp, red suede wraps stamped on the front in gilt, b/w/color. VG, moderate rubbing, a few tiny bruise, brief creases, a few tears. Scarce. For mature, consenting audiences.
