About This Item
HATFIELD BOOKS AND MEMORABILIA, a FIVE STAR SELLER, presents a FIRST EDITION Thus of FOREVER ENGLAND by William O. Stevens, along with its ORIGINAL PRICE-CLIPPED DUST JACKET. This 6" x 8 3/4", 295 page ramble through the English countryside is in NEAR FINE condition, with light yellowing of the pages, yet unmarked and tight. Assumed FIRST EDITION because 1) same date appears on both title page and copyright page and 2) the jacket contains review snippets for previous books by author, but none for this book. Cover has red cloth boards. ORIGINAL DUST JACKET (pictorial in browns and greys, with particulars in white) is VERY GOOD PLUS: cloth taped to reverse covers, couple of creases, light chipping. Book contains many whimsical illustrations by the author of his travels.
