This is not a Book Club Edition. True first printing with all points present: Navy boards with red cloth with gold-lettered spine. Code "1086" on rear jacket flap indicating an October, 1986 printing and code "BB27" on page 356. Original $16.95 price is intact on front jacket flap. Not a remainder, book club or ex-library copy. The text block is clean and square, with minimal wear. Jacket shows several tiny closed tears and associated moderate crinkling at corners and along edges at head and heel of spine panel. Aside from these defects this copy is clean, straight and not price-clipped. No previous owner's stamps or dedications as is common with this title. Award History: 1987 Locus Poll Award Nominee for Best SF Novel (lost to Speaker for the Dead by Card)..

Foundation and Earth is a Locus Award nominated science fiction novel by Isaac Asimov, the fifth novel of the Foundation series and chronologically the last in the series. It was published in 1986, four years after the first sequel to the Foundation trilogy and its direct predecessor Foundation's Edge.
