About This Item

no place: no photographer, 1980. Photograph. Four b&w photographs of marchers in a rally carrying signs in Spanish, three of which are untrimmed otherwise very good. Signs in the march include the Federacion de Comites de Madres y Familiares, mentioning Oscar Romero and the Desaparecidos. One is of an American flag with swastikas instead of stars and a piggish Uncle Sam eating children while giving the Nazi salute. Below that is a group hoisting the placard for the workers of Central de Trabajadores Salvadoreños (C.T.S.).
