New York: Grosset and Dunlap, [1931]. First Photoplay Edition, illustrated with scene from the Universal Film starring Boris Karloff and directed by James Whale at front jacket panel. Uncommon. Almost Near Fine, some shadowing at endpapers perhaps from an old jacket protector, in Very Good dustjacket, some light soiling, chips at spine ends and flap corners, less than dime sized chip at mid front spine edge.
