A Very Good + copy. Dustjacket has a small repaired closed tear and a little wear to edges and is not price clipped. 334 pages. 29 illustrations. The inter-war years were a period of immense excitement in the French theatre. During this time, a host of young writers and young producers, breaking with the traditions of the new pre-1914 stage, came up with new themes, new dramatic techniques, and new production methods, to suit the new times and the new audiences.
