About This Item
London: Mills and Boon, 1922. First Edition. Hard Cover. First UK Edition. Octavo, 142 pages, [2], 16-page catalogue to the rear. Publisher's original dark green cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board (which also has a blind-ruled border). Scattered foxing to the page block edges (and the early pages of the book) which has crept into the interior in places. There is a neat neat name and contemporary date to the head of the 1/2 title. No fading whatsoever to the gilt lettering. Slightly soft spine tips. Overall an attractive VG+ copy. No D/W. A series of essays drawn from the Author's contributions to "The Times" newspaper. Quite uncommon.
