Oxford: Shakespeare Head Press, 1927. 2 volumes in 8 parts (volumes). Full blue leather, highly gilt decorated on front and rear covers and spine. 5 raised bands on each spine. Top edges gilt, deckle edges on front and bottom edges. Number 40 of 350 copies printed on hand made paper by Shakespeare Head Press, considered by many to be the press's most important work Decorated with hand colored maps, heraldic headpieces and tail pieces, and over 600 hand colored coats-of-arms drawn by Paul Woodrolfe. Near fine with very light shelf wear, and some darkening of spines.
