About This Item
Extremely scarce uncirculated Futurist postcard featuring a mix of parole in libertà , acrostic, and calligram, where the first letters of each line of Cucchetti's short poem about movement, light, art, aerodynamics, and other Futurist ideals are highlighted in red and spell out "F.T. Marinetti", printed recto only. Loose as issued, 145 x 105 mm. Very fine condition. N.p., n.d. (circa 1930s). Salaris, Futurismo Postale, p. 86 n. 1. Extremely rare; as of July 2021, this postcard is not listed through OCLC. An online finding aid suggests there may be a copy of this postcard in an institutional collection of Marinetti correspondence and papers, but there are no confirmed copies we are aware of.
