G. Woolworth Colton, 1870. First Edition. MAP. Very Good. New York, 1870. Folding colored engraved map, 25.5 x 32 inches in original publisher's card stock case with brown cloth. A very scarce map, reprinting the 1859 map published by Laird and Lang. OCLC notes two copies of the 1859 map and a single copy of this new edition, held at the British National Library. A bright copy in very good condition with a few tears at folds, but otherwise fine. Cloth folder is split with both parts present. Overall a very nice copy of a scarce Midwestern railroad map.
