Lacks slipcase. Weight: 7 lbs. 15 oz. Eliot Porter (1901 - 1990), famed American nature photographer noted for his detailed and exquisite colour images of birds and landscapes. (He was also a Harvard-trained engineer & M.D.!)<br/> <br/> FINE/VG+ CONDITION for this superb collection of Porter's finest large format color photos in Darwin's famous archipelago. Light wear and minute losses to edges of dust jacket (unclipped) with a clean ~1" tear on top of rear panel vol. 2. Lacks slipcase. No previous ownership or remainder marks; no foxing.
