Contents good and tight, a little foxing to the head of the title page and last few pages, no inscriptions. A very good copy. 'Sir Thomas Hanmer of Bettisfield, one of the foremost horticulturists of Stuart times, was a close friend of John Evelyn and John Rea, and it was to him that Evelyn turned for advice in making his famous garden at Sayes Court.' .
