About This Item
New York: Harper & Row, 1982. First American Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is the stated first American edition. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with no marks and few signs of wear. The pictorial boards are in very good condition, showing just a touch of wear to tips and corners. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and again shows a bit of wear to edges, but no tears or chipping. The dust jacket is now in a protective plastic cover and looks great. Synopsis: One fine day Gardener George packed his pockets full of seeds and left his glorious countryside for a visit to the town. What he does to bring colour to the drab and dingy town makes for a story as magical as Gardener George's seeds
