About This Item
The sole UK Printing published by Horseshoe Publishing Co. Ltd in 1924. The BOOK is in VERY GOOD + or better condition. The binding is tight and is free of inscriptions. Some light offsetting to the end- papers. The boards are a little rubbed and bumped in places. The girl titling is slightly dulled. There is a small splash mark to the front cover (see images). The pages are clean with just a little light scattered spotting throughout. The page edges are lightly toned as expected with the quality of paper used. John Piper has provided five decorations to his poems and also one for the title page. No wrapper as issued. The book is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. The author / artist's first book and extremely scarce. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
