Riant Chateau, Territet, Suisse: Pool, 1927. Paperback. 200p., lightly-worn first edition paperback original in stiff wraps and plum printed dj with French folds and light wear and toning to spine, untrimmed edges. First novel by the bisexual Scottish avant-garde filmmaker ("Borderline" which starred Paul Robeson), husband of lesbian writer Bryher (aka Annie Winifred Ellerman) and lover of Hilda Doolittle. Together they formed The Pool Group which published the cinema film journal Close Up, produced the film "Borderline," and published several other books.
