Gilt edging to boards, blind embossed decoration to spine. In very good condition. Later leather to spine and corners, professionally rebacked, contemporary endpapers. Original leather boards rubbed with small chips/bumps to edges. Neat inscriptions to edges of title page (faded) “William Alexander, Gt. Yarmouth, 1792,” and “Sarah ... Southeran(?).” Some very minor handling marks to a couple of pages else a very clean, bright and tight copy. Profusely illustrated with B&W wood-engravings and title vignette. 483pp. Uniform binding with "Birds" ( see earlier section)..
