Liss, Hampshire: White Eagle Publishing Trust, April, 1978. Hardbound . 3rd Printing. BINDING/CONDITION: off-white binding with gilt; has a small label from a book distributor on the front endpaper, a very faint stain from long ago exposure to damp affects the top portion of the endpapers and the reverse side of the jacket, otherwise a Very Good book, with a Very Good dust jacket; the jacket is price clipped. The White Eagle Lodge was founded in England by Grace and Ivan Cooke in 1936. Grace was a medium who channeled from a spirit named White Eagle and wrote a series of short works on the subjects of healing, meditation, yoga, astrology and spirituality in general. The publisher's blurb reads: ''White Eagle's gentle but uncompromising words, spoken to his 'family' for their everyday guidance and inspiration, are here collected in the form of short extracts to be used as day-by-day reading or to turn to in times of special need. The gracious spirit of the Gentle Brother comes very close to the reader's heart.'' Originally published in November of 1968, this is a later printing. small 8vo (about 7.5 inches tall) 69 pages.
