Color Illustrations; Folio 13" - 23" tall; With 17 double-page hand-colored lithographed maps; lithographed title page. 14 1/2 x 9 3/4. Maps of the world, mostly of Europe. Includes a map of North America, showing the U. S. After the Louisiana Purchase and an extended Mexico going far north to Oregon, and modern-day Texas shown mostly as part of Mexico with some of the northern portion belonging to the U. S. . Period quarter sheep well rubbed. Binding is Fair/Good with two inch loss from corner of title page, not into text. But maps are VG/VG+ with an occasional small stain.. .
