The Georg Jensen Silversmithy established in 1904 was known for the world famous artists and craftsmen who created silverwork from their own designs under their own names, yet always within the framework of a "Georg Jensen" style, and executed at the Jensen Silversmithy. By showing the designers' broad range of work including jewelry, flatware, holloware and personal and decorative objects made of silver, stainless steel, pewter and gold, Jensen's influence on the evolution of modern design is revealed.
