About This Item

Gotha: Friedrich Andreas Perthes, 1897. First Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. vi, 272pp. Ex-library, rebound in brown buckram, with gilt lettering to spine. Trimming to internal margins for the rebind was a little excessive, requiring the reader to expend a little more effort than normal to hold the book open to read. Light wear, mild soiling, and several faint stains to covers. Light soiling to edges of pages, with some tanning to paper. A small number of pages admit to short, closed tears at extremities, with a few pages admitting to clear tape repair. Overall, this is a good, clean, sound copy
