About This Item

J. B. Lippincott Company, 1924. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. Very Good Condition. I've had this work professionally restored and it looks fantastic. Because of the restoration the first endpaper where Brother Skilton had signed had to be removed and now it is just inserted in the work. Dark Blue (almost black) cloth and leatherette embossed boards, title and gold Embossed Knight Templar on a horse to front board, title to spine. Binding is as new, pages crisp with minor tanning and foxing. Numerous excellent Illustrations. (See Photos) "A Narrative as told by a Knight Templar and Recorded by a Noble of The Mystic Shrine" told in an epic poem, there is also a clipping of a review of the work by the then mayor of Philadelphia W. Freeland Kendrick 33* If you would like more info/pictures please contact me anytime.

About The Mason's Corner

I am a private collector of interesting, hard to find rare books mainly of a Masonic nature and related subjects but due too personal reasons I have decided to let my collection go. All my listings will be accurately described and contain photos of the actual book for sale. If you are in the States or elsewhere other than Australia please contact me before purchase of the larger and heavier books so I can check shipping costs. In most case I've tried to add the shipping cost straight onto the price of the book. Therefore the prices are not set in stone, IE: prices can be adjusted if purchaser is in Australia.Feel free to ask any questions concerning my listings as well as extra photo's if required.Glenn BrittenThe Mason's corner
