Hardcover, red cloth boards with gilt on front and spine. Exterior shows only very minimal handling wear and toning, corners are still sharp. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. Text pages are clean but end pages and pastedowns show toning and foxing with the rear end page being the worst. Tissue guards are still present and attached on all images. First edition with publishers colophon appearing on the copyright page along with a single publication date of September, 1914.
