The play opened at the Aldwych Theatre in London on June 3, 1965, and was performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company, Peter Hall director. It opened on Broadway in 1967 and won four Tony Awards and the New York Drama Critics Award. An Easton Press "Collector's Edition."
