This is a follw-up book to Edwards 1894 publication with a similar title "The Portrait Gallery of Pugilists of America and Their Contemporaries From James J. Corbett to Tom Hyer....." The volume features not only the history of boxing but also countless excellent prints of top name boxers in full page format. Some included are John L. Sullivan, James Corbett, Jake Kilrain, Peter Jackson, Paddy Ryan, and Bob Fitzsimmons. Sports. Boxing. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
