A bright first edition/first printing in Very Good condition with soiled edges and writing to front free end paper in Very Good- dust-jacket with edgewear, rubbing, chipping to lower spine, and several closed tears; In this novel, a group of Hollywood actors and their spouses are stranded in a small town in the middle of nowhere after a major earthquake hits California. The townspeople are not used to having celebrities in their midst and the actors are not used to the small-town life. The town's only connection to the outside world is the radio station, which is run by the actor's spouses. The townspeople are not very friendly to the actors and the actresses are not very friendly to the townspeople. The only thing that the townspeople and the actors have in common is their dislike of the actresses' husbands.; 8vo; 299 pages; FSA .
