About This Item
London: Peter Owen, 1985. First UK edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 378pp. 23cm. Hardcover. Publisher's original grey boards, silver lettering to spine. Book Condition: Very Near Fine; small dot to top edge which is almost certainly a UK remainder mark...unobtrusive. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Near Fine with the most superficial suggestions of wear to front panel. If not the nicest copy out there it's at least as nice. A very handsome example of UK book design in the 80's - with striking pink endpapers, jacket flaps with displaying a certain je nais se qua.
