Loyal Edward Davis, MD, FACS (1896-1982), is widely known for his contributions in the field of neurological surgery. He was a long-time Chairman of the DepartmentHe was also a prolific writer and the long-time editor of Surgery Gynecology and Obstetrics (SG&O), known today as the Journal of the American College of Surgeons (JACS). He was the father of First Lady Nancy Reagan. This particular work of Davis' is extremely scarce.. Slight shadows on endpapers, very small stain on dedication page, else fine; unmarked, unread, tight, square, and clean. NEAR FINE. . 8vo 8" - 9" tall. 247 pp .
