Signed presentation from the author on the front endpaper to David Daiches Raphael (1916 - 2015) British writer, academic philosopher, political theorist and Imperial College fellow and his wife, Sylvia (he was related to the historian David Daiches by marriage), ""For Sylvia and David, with love from David."" Including several pages of hand-written scholarly notes and corrections (mostly suggested misprints, possibly to help his brother-in-law) in the hand of David Daiches Raphael, loosely inserted.
