About This Item

New York: Frederick A. Stokes Company, 1937. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good +. Lois Lenski. SIGNED BY LOIS LENSKI FROM HER HOMETOWN OF HARWINTON, CT on the half-title. A solid copy to boot of the 1937 1st edition. Tight and VG in its dark-brown cloth, with bright gilt-lettering and design along the front panel and spine. Very light rippling to the foot of the pages, light staining along the bottom-edge, otherwise clean as could be internally. And in a crisp, price-intact ($2.00), VG+ to Near Fine dustjacket, with several very small closed tears along the panel edges and just a touch of light wear at the spine crown. Octavo, nicely illustrated thruout by the author herself.
