About This Item
1959 Edition of the 16 Volume Children's Golden Book Encyclopedia Set. Each volume is bound in the publisher's illustrated boards in excellent condition. All bindings are tight with little if any signs of wear, cocking or leaning of the boards. This children's illustrated encyclopedia set was placed in a young girl's bookcase in 1959 where it sat until July of 2020. There are no bookplates or other condition issues on the set's 1,536 pages. There is evidence of fading on all shelf-side book ends where the set was exposed to light, as shown in the photos. With that exception, each of the 16 volumes is in Fine condition with little or no evidence of wear.
