This book is collectible primarily for the charming illustrations of long-time Little Golden Book illustrator Corinne Malvern. Orig. published in 1947, this is the First Printing of the 1955 edition, which does NOT (never did) have the foldout Xmas tree like the first edition. In 31 pages, with colorful watercolor illustrations on every one. Reinforced binding is designed to be extra tough & durable. Condition is VG: completely clean & unmarked, binding strong & straight, pages white & unmarked. Clear acetate covering is peeling at bottom of front cover & completely peeled from back & spine.
