Map illustrated endpapers, both different, front end paper are photographic overview of area described in the book, rear end paper:  showing map of Mount Algidus sheep station in the New Zealand high country. The text is illustrated with black and white photography. Yellow coloured boards with metallic red coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with white and black colour titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. Black and white photograph of author and husband to the rear fold over panel. The history of the author's home in the high country of New Zealand, Mount Algidus. Softening to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners and lower book edges. Browning to the textblock edges and light age toning of the pages. A previous owner has covered the book in plastic and has used tape to fasten said cover  tape to the rear and front paste-downs. Previous owners details to the title page. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. A little creasing to the dustwrapper edges with a 0.25" tear to the lower left-hand corner of the front panel with associated creasing.
