In Dutch. 18th century bindings of marbled leather, probably sheep, with five raised spine bands, dual gilt tooled spine labels, gilt decorated compartments and outer cover edges, marbled text block edges, title pages in red and black, about 20cm tall. Includes all 33 plates including 32 of Dutch nobility and engraved title in first volume. Vol I: [4], 8, xx, [52], 207 pages + 24 plates. Vol II: 224, [4], 63, [2] pages + 9 plates. Covers rubbed at the extremities with minor chipping to the corners and spine ends, spine leather crackled with some minor edge chipping but stabilized, vol II has additional chipping at the edges, remains of an old paper label on the front cover and long scuff along rear cover, bindings sound, pages clean and unmarked.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
