About This Item

New York, New York, USA: Oxford Book Company, 1924. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7. Type: Hardback Hardcover Book in Fair Condition. Classic textbook reference. Binding of olive-green cloth w/ black titles. Text is clean and clear, pages only lightly toned. Inner hinge cracked; sewn binding tight. Boards are scuffed around the edges and corners and rubbed--shows wear and age. Front endpapers are scribbled on. This book supplies problems and drill exercises and topics are graded according to difficulty. Every set of exercises is developed by oral and written drills, followed by problems that apply principles involved. Parts III and IV deal with controlling accounts and subsidiary ledgers and complete advanced bookkeeping and accounting through manufacturing and corporations. Of interest perhaps is that this text fulfilled the requirements of the first two years' work as prescribed by the New York State Department of Education and the syllabi of the best secondary schools of the country--in the 1920s. 216 pages. 5.5 x 8 inches. Oxford Book Company, NY 1924.
