About This Item

Dublin: M. H Gill & Son,. Good with no dust jacket. 1901. Reprint. Hardcover. Tan cloth-covered boards with black titling and 'lighthouse' decoration to the front cover only. The covers have some moderate discolouration, fading, shelfwear and rubbing to the extremities, but the outer hinges are tight and the covers are sound. Some brown staining to the top page edge, and slightly to the rear of the front fore-edge - but otherwise the fore-edges are just lightly foxed (pale spotting) and the stains do not affect the inside of the book. Internally pale lemon endpapers. A former owner's name, Welsh location & date ('02) are on the top of the front free endpaper and some annotations to pages 7-9, all in old ink, but apart from this, the text block is very clean throughout. (viii) + 136 pp including the Appendix = Additional examples of declensions. Quite a scarce little book first published in 1878. School Irish Grammar with the original 1878 Preface. See Images. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall .
