Wrapper rubbed to edges, with creasing and several small tears especially to top edges, no fading. Wrapper now in removable clear protective sleeve. Nice condition internally, no loose pages, hinges tight, only lightly read, significant spotting to edge of text block, a volume in the ' Black Jacket ' series . Heavy book, will require additional postage outside the UK.

London: Hodder and Stoughton Limited, 1936 Hardback, 155mm x 130mm tall (6" x 9.25" approx.). 344pp with three line-drawn text-figs, plus a b/w photo frontispiece, 97 further photos on 94 plates, and a multi-folding map. A scattered light foxing, principally to the prelims and closed-page edges, otherwise very good, in the original black-cloth-covered boards/gilt spine title. The unclipped illustrated dust-wrapper is very good, apart from a little light rubbing to edges and corners and a 1cm split without loss to the upper edge. The UK edition was published a year before that of the USA.. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Good. Lge 8vo..
