EACH VOLUME was published separately as part of the Newsweek series, GREAT MUSEUMS OF THE WORLD, and as such is a FIRST EDITION THUS, FIRST PRINTING THUS. Each of the 14 volumes has 171 pages (including the History of the Collection by the Curator of the Museum in question, the Building Index of Illustrations, and an Index of Names), is 9 1/4" x 11 1/2", with approximately 150 color photographs. Oversize, extra postage required. The books are AS NEW, even after 45 years of preservation. Pages are glossy, white or extremely colorful, extremely tight and sharp, with no marks. Covers (cloth boards of varying single colors, containing large particulars in gold gilt) are spotless. Dust jacket for each volume varies between Very Good and Fine, with 10 listed as Fine.
