Boston: Yankee Publishing Company, 1944. Second Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. Clean Second Edition in dust jacket with lovely map laid in. Maroon cloth boards with gold lettering on cover and spine. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with beautifully illustrated endpapers. No names, writing or marks. Illustrated with black and white plates, mostly photographs, some of them rare. 354 pages, with index of Souther New England Shipwrecks. Folded map of Boston Harbor and Massachusetts Bay including Cape Cod and Cape Ann is in perfect condition (laid in). Jacket is clean (slightly age-toned), with small chip at base of spine and very shallow chipping at top spine edge. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
