All edges gilt, illustrated with numerous wood engravings and 25 steel engravings. First 6 pages (including frontispiece and title page) with a water stain to bottom third, otherwise very good throughout with tissue guards in place. Previous owner's signature in pencil on front fly leaf, light foxing to some pages. Record # 404908
