(15 full-page), by R.Brandard, E.Radclyffe, E.Roberts, Orrin Smith, &c., after drawings by Copley Fielding, T.Crestwick, Meissonier, Sargent, Daubigny, & others. contemporary half calf, rebacked with spine mounted (rubbed, extremities worn, spine label wanting). Second Edition. Wordsworth, nephew of the poet and his literary executor, was headmaster of Harrow and later Bishop of Lincoln. In 1832-33 he travelled in Greece, and discovered the site of the oracle of Zeus at Dodona. The numerous plates and text illustrations depict scenery, architecture, and costume. cfBlackmer 1840-41..
