A good minus copy overall, with moderate shelf wear, minor soiling, but a significant 2 1/2" corner chip from the front cover, all fore-corners worn; hinges and binding sturdy, paper moderately yellowed with foxing throughout. A good reading copy only. / 2: 16mo, 6 1/2" tall, 94 pages (should be 96), brown quarter-leather over printed boards. A fair copy overall, with significant shelf wear, spine cloth frayed, moderate soiling, all fore-corners worn, front cover gouged (as if by a bored boy with a pocket knife); hinges loosened and binding sturdy, paper moderately yellowed with foxing throughout and the front and rear endpapers and flyleaf missing as well as pages 95-96 (the last--which included the multiplication tables and lesson plan).
