Tightly bound with faint thumb marking throughout. Heavier tanning to free endpapers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Visible wear marks to boards. Unclipped Jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Jacket is in removable plastic cover.

Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Pages are tone due to age and foxing is present. Front pastedown shows a bookplate from Leonard Shepley along with a 1924 Christmas gift inscription. End pages and pastedowns are quite foxed. Copyright info blacked out on copyright page.
