Red cloth, gilt titles and elaborate decorations to front and spine, with gilt top page edges; no dustjacket (perhaps as issued). xii, 386pp, large octavo. With 24 b&w photos in plates by Katharine Coman, including tissue-guarded frontispiece. Areas visited include the Borders, Lake District, Lancashire, Warwickshire, Cotswolds, Oxford and the west country. A Good copy. Very good contents, with 1916 gift inscription inside front cover. Front cover bright, but spine has cloth splits and fraying to top section, and cloth is dulled.
