Top 1" of spine has separated from contents. Occasional ink and pencil marks or marginal jottings. Black and white photos throughout. Chapters include 'First Footers', Trail of '82, Homesteaders, The Hamlet, English Gentlemen, Transportation and Communication, The Village, Settlement of the West, Churches, Organizations, Schools, Sports, The Town. Author spent a year collecting and compiling the story of this community. In so doing, she has given the pioneers "a measure" of the recognition they deserve..
