London:: Gollancz,, 1977.. First edition.. Hardcover. VG+/VG-. 384pp, inscribed by Basnett, rather saucily, on front free endpaper. Faint browning to endpapers, otherwise contents very clean. In original maroon cloth-textured binding lettered in gilt: firm, clean and bright, head of spine slightly blunted. Unclipped dustjacket front panel illustration good, but elsewhere browning apparent and spine sunned (title clear but dimmed to a lime yellow), with small knock at head.
